Veterinarian Dr. Ernie Ward visits and gives a special presentation at the Obesity Action Coalition (OAC) Your Weight Matters Annual Conference held August 10-13, 2017 in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Dr. Ward speaks with his friend, Dr. Robert (Bob) Kushner, an obesity physician, author, and researcher from Northwestern University, and pharmacotherapy expert from George Washington University, Scott Kahan, MD, MPH. He also spends time with OAC staff member Kristy Kuna and attorney Patty Nece, JD discussing weight biases and what veterinarians and veterinary technicians can learn from physicians and human nurses when talking about pet obesity to pet owners.
